- VOLUME 0.0
- Here are
the six tracks
from our debut
EP. They are
the result of
many months
of hard work,
a couple months
of slacking
off, and one
month where
we did nothing
but listen
to Wang Chung
records while
ice fishing
in Peru. We
hope y'all
enjoy these
free low bit
rate versions
of the songs
enough to
go buy the
actual CD
in all of
its pristine
digital high
fidelity brilliantly
full colored
aromarific
splendor.
We are selling
it at the
ridiculously
low price
of only FIVE
BUCKS... that's
less that
a dollar per

JOEL'S
4 TRACK DEMOS
- A variety
of old cuts
that Joel threw
together on
his ratty little
Tascam Analog
4-Track recorder
(so 20th century).
Hopefully these
songs will eventually
be polished
up and make
their way into
Elemenopy's
catalogue of
songs. Most
of the intruments
and vocals are
played and sung
by Joel except
for "Anything
That Feels Like
Yesterday"
which includes
drums by Brian
Bayless
and some guitar
by Rodger
LeGrand,
and "Losing
Sleep"
which features
drums by Nick. |

WHEN
WE'RE BOTH CATS
- This is Nick's
solo record
recorded back
at Nadsat Studios
in Fulton, NY
in 2002. A few
of these songs
are currently
being played
in new and improved
(well, NEW anyway)
Elemenopy incarnations,
and the rest
will surely
find their way
onto a set list
or two sometime
in the future.
Generally speaking
all instrumentation
and vocalizing
is done by Nick,
with the following
guest appearances
by some of Upstate
NY's finest:
Lead guitar
on "In
Memory Of The
Spark Of Initial
Eye Contact"
and "20
years"
by Sean
Grimes.
Additional vocals
on "20
Years"
by Elisha
Dellios.
Additional vocals
on "Meantime
Fascination"
by Caleb
Liber.
Bass guitar
on "Million
Eyes"
by Mike
Knapp.
All songs recorded
and mixed by
Mike
Knapp,
and then re-mixed
and mastered
by Sean
Grimes.

SEVEN
SONGS OF THE
WILLSEYVILLE
ANSWERING
MACHINE -
Oh, where
to begin?
These seven
little 30
second gems
were all featured
as Joel's
outgoing messages
on his answering
machine throughout
the three
years during
which he resided
in a pleasant
little burg
called Willseyville,
NY. Willseyville
is located
10 miles south
of Ithaca
College (where
Joel attended
school) and
about 100
years detached
from modern
civilization.
To know Willseyville
is to love
it, so in
truth "you
really had
to be there."
But these
songs represent
the bulk of
how Joel spent
his days as
a student
at Ithaca
College. Laboriously
recording
complex layers
of vocal and
instrument
tracks, all
for a 30 second
outgoing message
that no one
could understand
through the
squeaky fiber
optics of
telephone
lines. While
they may never
make it into
a live Elemenopy
performance,
they certainly
did entertain
and annoy
Joel's friends
and family
for three
years, now
they are yours
to enjoy forevermore!
